NSW Heath - Transcultural Mental Health Centre

Counselling Interactive counsellor is a visiting clinician with The Transcultural Mental Health Centre (TMHC). TMHC is a state-wide service established in 1993.

TMHC work with people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, health professionals and partner organisations across NSW to support good mental health. TMHC services complement public Mental Health Services (hospital and community) and enhance pathways to care for culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

TMHC is a NSW Health state-wide service hosted within the Western Sydney Local Health District.

Modes of Counselling

Face to Face Counselling

Counselling is best done in face to face. Verbal as well as non-verbal messages can be perceived through being together in a counselling room with a counsellor. At Counselling Interactive, a quite, secure and safe facility is prepared for you to talk in comfort and safety with a counsellor.

Internet Counselling

Due to geographical or time limitations, some clients are unable to come to the counselling room. The counsellor at Counselling Interactive is equipped to provide secure audio-vidual counselling over the internet. Interstate and International counselling appointments are available through the internet counselling service. Internet counselling can be arranged by initial telephone, email, or SMS contact.

Telephone Counselling

For geographical or time constraints some clients cannot come to the counselling room, nor have access to the internet to connect via the internet. The counsellor at Counselling Interactive is equipped to provide counselling over the telephone. Telephone counselling can be arranged via initial telephone, email, or SMS text contact.
